The Feast of Corpus Christi is the Patronal Festival of Holy Communion Anglican Church in RI. From the Latin for “Body of Christ”, the Feast of Corpus Christi celebrates Christ’s presence in the Sacraments. The shepherds who lead God’s people have the sober responsibility to care for and protect the flock. So what are we to make of those who lead the flock astray? The Rev. Galloway discusses the Church’s great need for true, good shepherds, who are obedient to the one True Shepherd.

When we choose to walk in the light, and not in darkness, we experience deeper fellowship with God and each other. And even in the smallest choices of daily life, we must decide between living in the Truth, or living in darkness. In Christ, we are assured that a Light will always shine in the darkness, and the darkness will not overcome it.

The Second Sunday of Easter closes out Easter Week, which is observed over eight days (an octave), and it places great emphasis on forgiveness. The Rev. Galloway explains the incredible forgiveness and mercy we receive through Christ Jesus.
