Sermon given by the Rev. Nathan Stomberg on 7 Pentecost (7/16/2023).
Here is the key for us today: all of us have been commissioned in the priesthood of believers as planters for the kingdom of God. Not only does that mean the preaching of the Gospel, but it means the seed of our own faith as well – perhaps that more than anything else. Throughout our lives, we must constantly tend and transplant our seed, our plant, and it’s up to us whether it bears fruit or whether it withers or dies.
